The Con puts you in the role of an underground fight-club that enrolls ex-cons as fighters. The title of the game is about more than just the nature of your employees, but it is also the nature of the fighting organization.
Your tournaments are only a means to con money out of everyone that walks through the door. In the ring, you take control of the fighters in an unusual over-the-shoulder view. Instead of putting the camera off to the side and removing you from the battle, you become a part of the action.
The fighters and characters that you control in The Con are highly customizable. Not only can you shape your character's physical stature or choose the outfits -- but like THUG Remix (Tony Hawk: Underground for the PSP), you will be able to attach a digital camera to the handheld and literally put your face on your characters. That combined with the ability to take your personalized-fighter online -- makes it all that more personal when you beat an opponent with your friend's face on it.
Look for The Con to come out for the PSP this October. |
